Scion's FASHION FEUD San Francisco, Oct. 27, 2009

SCION presents FASHION FEUD San Francsico is a live "Project Runway" like competition on stage. Designers are given an hour to create a design to prepare for a runway on stage. Models will have a walk-of on stage with their newly designed outfits.

The audience will decide who the best designer of the evening by their resounding applause. Fabrics will be provided from"Mood Fabrics New York". This FREE event is sponsored by "SCION". Invite your friends.

Chanel Rosales Bio

Chanel Rosales is a sophomore college student attending City College of San Francisco. She will eventually transfer to SF State to obtain a B.S. in Apparel Design and Merchandizing.

Fashion has always been her interest since she was a child. Her early inspiration was to outfit her Barbie doll with various changes of clothing. The fashion bug caught to her when one day she made a simple Tinker Bell outfit for Halloween with two fabric scraps from her closet. She also made her own winter ball gown with her mother in high school.

Since then, she has experimented with her sewing machine and took up fabrics art class in her senior year in high school learning techniques in crocheting, knitting, embroidery, and using patterns. From creating super hero costumes, her curiosity expanded to making a few vests to sewing her first six dress collection. She competed at the regional FHA HERO design competition.

She strongly expresses her ideas in fashion to express her creative abilities. Chanel Rosales is currently exploring her vast creative ideas not only to challenge herself but to prepare her career in fashion. For her, competing in Fashion Feud is just the beginning of her journey as a budding fashion designer.
